Model bases.

I bought some wooden bases from the Telford show, these are just the plain ones as the ones with the grey tarmc sections had sold out, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the stuff from, it looks like a kind of sticky back plastic. I tried B&Q but the only have flashy kids type ones.

try 1200 wet and dry paper it looks the part and has the right texture.

try pva glue and filtered bird sand then paint.

I figure I can do a few different ones with your advice, a sand one for dessert, the wet and dry for tarmac and just secenic grasses for airfields
