    I've missed this place!

    Hi all,

I've not been on here for ages (good few months). Lost my mojo a bit and lots of stuff been going on with work & at home (all good though). The good lady is pregnant with our first and we've just found out it's going to be a boy so I'm chuffed to bits. (I now have an excuse to start "playing with toys" again)

I'm trying to get back into the builds that I was half way through before my life went all over the shop but can't seem to find the time. Might buy myself a nice simple kit to ease myself back.

Anyway, got plenty of threads I can catch up with. That might give me a bit of a kick-start.

    Gav.

Well, congratulations to you and good lady, sir!!

Just think what you have to look forward to...Scalextric, Lego and, of course, sharing the hobby with a new generation.

I'm still trying to find something that my 7 year old and 4 (almost 5) year old can do (obviously with lots of parental supervision!!).

So, again, congratulations and welcome back. Ease yourself in gently with something you don't normally do. My mojo got up and left for a bit a while ago too so I put aside my 1:35 stuff and did a 1:72 helicopter and a couple of 1:72 WWII planes, did me the world of good!

congratulations from us on the good news Gav.

Get what modeling you can done before he arrives as you'll probably have no time when he's here untill it all settles into a routine.

Great to see you back posting again Gav, and what a nice message too.....Congratulations!

I've not done much model building during the summer, but mine was self imposed!

Good luck to you both with the pending arrival....

                Cheers,

                Ron

Best wishes to the 'three' of you Gav. You'll certainly need a train set and a Meccano set, perhaps some lego, a radio controlled tank......
