Mamod Traction engine and trailer for me, in challenging need of some TLC. Just what I was after.

Yes, I'm a closet toy steam fan. Showmans' Engine coming up.

Oh and a Papa Smurf T shirt from my piss-taking Granddaughter!

      Adrian,

I did the prototype boot spoiler on that WRC Imprezza when I was clay modelling at Dove Engineering in Norfolk, who did all the upgrades on that car for Peter Stephens, ProDrive's designer. The spoiler gave no downforce in the wind tunnel, but 15% drag!

      Enjoy the kits.

        Fly 1/32 Ba 349 V "Natter"

        Hasegawa 1/32 ME 163 B "Komet".

Heinkel He 219 by Roland Kemp (the Schiffer publication)

Not much theme building going on here. British, foreign, car, ship, tanks, all over the place. I'm surprised.

            I've got a 1:1 Impreza outside!

            Not a WRC, though.

My brother-in-law (also called Martin) makes scale srteam engines, although he's not done much of it for a few years.

Jep we're a diverse bunch here! most of us have our little niches, but we almost all dabble with other areas. Steve (stona) has even gotten the urge to build something that dont have wings! Thats a first!!

It is indeed Ian! I've had a look in the box (I don't think we're allowed to start until Jan 1) and found some wheels which is encouraging.

It is weird looking at bits and having no clue what they are made of,where they go,or how they are painted

                  Cheers
