    does anyone know of any american and japanese companys that dont cost the world on p&p!!

    looked at squadron as few bits found they want $55 delivery and hobbylink japan was £40 just obv so much on there sites that cant get here, but its annoying how much they charge, even over here thu most start at £3.50 quite few dont charge much more but went to order 1 model and 2 books in uk and wanted over £9 p&p

    I think that you will be hard to find any where in the US or Far East that has cheap post. Maybe if you ordered it surface mail you will get it cheaper but then there is the wait of some times up to three months!!

    Postage is the bain of us all that shop over the WWW. Some post by weight alone, others by volume. Those are the ones that it can pay to order as much as you can and pay the price.

    Postage within the UK is in my opinion not that bad. Compare it to the cost of the trip to collect and time to collect it. How much does a gallon of petrol cost there anyway?

    Denmark: I can get a kit or three posted for around £5. the 70km round trip will cost round the same.

    A good few webshops in the UK sometimes have free post on orders over a certain value. Johns, has one right now for orders over £50.

    What are the Kit and Books you are looking for, maybe some one here has seen them in the UK?
