    The predicament

It's 0615, I'm creeping out of the bedroom and she says, 'Where are you going'

I reply 'I have an engine to assemble'

Her response was 'You have a wife to cuddle'

What on earth was I to do........................................Gentleme n, you'll be glad to hear, my Lysander engine is assembled ready for painting.

So the evidence points in the very positive direction that your major interest in life & disregarding all the other things that matter to the rest of the humans perhaps all very detrimental to your actual life on this planet despite good advice from your wife & in bed which you spawned & as you have shown absolutely disregarded in favour of assembling a LYSANDER ENGINE.

My question is Colin. How are you able to achieve that. And what is the Lysander Engine type thing to the Cuddle in bed in achievement rate in percentage terms.

      Laurie

PS how did it go, the engine, as I am building this next ?

I would have gone with the cuddle ...... I've yet to come across a model engine that could rip an arm off and beat me senseless with the soggy end

Sorry Colin, you've got it all wrong...........My missus is pretty handy at most things, so it would be a cuddle, then she would get up and assemble the engine, then return with a full english breakfast for me to eat in bed......Then she would go out in the cold and rain to walk the dog and return and ask if I wanted another cup of tea in bed, and should she get the car out and go and get me a paper to read.

At this stage I usually wake up!!!!!!

Good heavens Ron, utopia, then I woke as well.

Laurie, well with hindsight, the cuddle might have been better, the engine cowling wasn't such a great fit. Having said that, I've never been a morning person !

Sorry Colin, a cuddle beats sitting alone, fighting with an ill fitting model engine any day of the week.:emo4:

                    Perhaps I'm not dedicated enough:sorry:

Whilst i have no more plans to have more children, i also have no plans to have my balls served to me on a silver platter. So i would have gone back to bed for that cuddle lol

Yes, at the end of the day it was only a Revell Lysander. However, supposing it had been a Tamiya Mosquito - - - - - there would have been no hesitation !

What is this "wife" thing you refer to ?

I've heard they're sort of like a mythical sea monster.... but more dangerous when p***ed off....

Colin, you're a bad man, very bad man. But i like your style.

Stuart mate, it's the thing that comes after you say "I Do". Then it's all down hill from there.............................

“Honey,” said this husband to his wife, “I invited a friend home for supper.”

“What?… Are you crazy? The house is a mess, I haven’t been shopping, all the dishes are dirty, and I don’t feel like cooking a fancy meal!”

                            “I know all that.”

“Then why did you invite a friend for supper?”

“Because the poor fool’s thinking about getting married.”

I'll leave my coat where it is and get full body armour on.

                            Have fun, John
