    British WWII Armoured Vehicles

Okay so this is such an obvious thing that you'll all be wondering why I'm even bothering to ask. I'll ask anyway.

So, I'm currently doing a European WWII dio and I need a piece of UK armour either a tank (medium or heavy) or some sort of APC. Tracked or non-tracked isn't important, I just need something that they had available to them.

I've done a little bit of looking into this and saw that the UK had M3A1 half-tracks but some forums say that they didn't see any action. I'm still considering using one as I quite like them but wondered if the UK had an equivalent. I was going to say it's not going to be the main focus of the dio but it will depend on what angle you view it from.

I also read that the UK had Sherman tanks, but, again, forum postings seemed to contradict this (I hasten to add that they weren't on this forum, I only found them while Googling).

The dio isn't a battle scene if that helps to narrow it down any.

So, any help would be appreciated, if I have some idea of what kind of vehicles were used I can do some research I just don't really know where to start but I knew that there would be one or two WWII armour speacialist on here.

    Cheers

    The Brits had M5/M9 halftracks.

    They did have Shermans...

Shermans I, II, III, V, IC, VC,

They had Churchills, Cromwells, Comets, Centaurs,

    Humber, Daimler, AEC armoured cars.

Personnel were carried in trucks, Universal Carriers, Halftracks etc

The list goes on so you have a wide choice.
