    Box tops revisited.

Someone asked recently about keeping the box tops from kits. Here's maybe one reason you should!

11 bids at last look. Scary to think that 11 people would be so gullible!

Just watched this craziness finish. Six empty model kit boxes went for a total of £26.02 inc postage.

                  Still don't understand ?????

Fair play to the seller for having the cheek to list them - I'm not sure I would have !! I'll have to start saving mine....

Dammit ! , I was out bid at the last minute! LOL I can understand the attraction of some of the classic airfix box art but not paying silly money for it, and these ones arent even that special anyway! As has been said , hats off to the bloke thats had the brass neck to put em up for auction , he must be laughing his boxtops off!!!! tony

I might just about understand if the boxes were complete as good boxes can increase the value of a kit. But paying this for just the lids is plain silly, and I have difficulty believing that so many folks might have thought they were bidding on actual kits.

Anyway, for anyone interested I have a wonderful deal - cash and in used notes only please .....
