    Snow Day model making :)

So.....who "has" to take the day off due to the dreaded white fluffy stuff, and has thought "might as well catch up on some modelling, then"...? :P

I'm not sure yet, but fingers crossed !!

    Cheers, Neil

My office is the lower ground floor of my home - no chance, got far too much to do anyway.

I'm at home but not because of the snow I'm looking after my poorly daughter. Which means no modelling for me as I do all my modelling at work.....BOO HOO!

When the weather turns cold, I always think of the poor souls on the eastern front winter months WW2.

Sorry Ian I fear I may have misled you slightly there. What I actually mean is that I model during my breaks at work not that I build models for a living (that would be too much like a dream come true) I'm a sign maker by trade and on the plus side the workshop I work in means my work bench is 2m x 3m with the same size storage underneath but on the down side means I only get an hour a day at it and that's if I'm in the workshop. One day I will have me a man cave at home..... One day!

              Regards

( And that reminds me, I haven't had a good Turismo session in ages.... )

OK Just how bad is this snow. I only see small snippets on the news, and its mostly about the whole of Europe. Come on guys, all this talk about being stuck in the snow and not one photo?

We had a snow storm last sunday night. Monday I dug the car out and went to work.

                      bummer.

It's a light covering, not really worth going overboard about .. the news dramatises it beyond belief to be honest, and i'm sure half of all this "stay at home" and "its a disaster" is a health and safety insurance claim get-out

How things have changed since i was young, we'd still be at school with our coats on, people would still be going to work, and as teenagers sometimes we'd just sod off to the beach on bikes or in our three-wheelers for a BBQ and that was 90 odd miles away.

You have snow much worse than this as a quick downfall so i'm lead to believe from friends over there.

The snow is pretty bad here and certainly we cannot get out of the estate in a car. This morning at 11.30., our post lady pushed the mail through the door as usual. I take my hat off to all posties and post office workers. You do a great job for us all. We will moan loudly when a letter goes astray but we rarely appreciate you when things go well (normally). So thank you!
