I reckon Cosford is the best because:

It's not as big as Telford but the club tables are allowed to sell kits (which they can't do at Telford - probably a H&S issue) which means there are usually some good bargains to be had (although similar bargains can be found on ebay so the savings may not be massive).

So many of us get there it becomes a social occasion as well as a model show.

There is a good selection of real aircraft to look at so there are good opportunities to get some detail pics (although not inside the aircraft unfortunately).

Another vote for cosford here. As dave and ron said its a fantastic show ,in a fantastic museum and apart from the small charge for parking its free!! Its quite a way for you i know , but its worth it , its a 2 hour drive for myself and about the same for ron, scott and andrew. I know this ones a bit of a way for you too but the Newark Expo is a great little show . Its organised by the Lincoln and newark model clubs and is usually around the beginning of october at southwell racecourse ,notts. Its free to park and free entry , with a good selection of club stands and traders and an open to all competition. cheers tony

Did that without moving my keyboard lol:thumbsup: It is usually 10:00 to 4:00 entrance is free with proceeds to Mayors Charities so have a go at the tombola to contribute. I actually joined the Peterborough model club near the end of the summer last year and they do a cracking job organising this show but, I stopped going as I find it difficult to get the time some weeks and, being a cyclist, transporting completed models to club meets is not that easy if I want them to stay in one piece.
