Saw this a week or so ago. They think the retail price might be $100 to $150 (US) which equates to about £63 to £94

Still want one though. Only problem is you won't be able to do an early B-17G like the 'box art' suggests as they are only doing it with a staggered waist gun positions

The saga of these models is exactly that,it's been going on for a while for those who remember wingscale.

I hope the plastic materialises this time. As far as I'm aware the B-17 has at least made it to a test model and has recently been seen at Nuremberg.

      Cheers

..... yeah. They got that far with the 1/144 Bismarck and Akagi and then died a death.

I'd be amazed if it was that cheap.

Wow just seeing how big this thing is in 48 ca'nt imagine doing that scale, the cost of glue alone would put you in the poor house!

It looks a real beauty - though I would await the Lancaster if I had a spare hanger to keep it in!!!!

The JU88 is more than big enough

That's very nice, but very big.............almost big enough to sleep under............which is exactly where I'd have to sleep if one turned up at my house............. :/
