A wee visit to the boot sale this morning threw up these 3. A Hobby Boss M706 Commando Armored car in 1:35th. A Hobby boss LAV-150 in 1:35th, got both for a £5

and a real oldie The 20 year old, Ford 5-AT Tri-Motor for £2.00, All 3 still sealed.

There are a few good bargains to be had there Jim. You can get in from 6.00am Colin, You get the usual buyers who dive into your boot when you arrive, but as yet there are none of them who are after kits. Its been good to me this year, 7 planes a few weeks ago and the 3 this morning.

Cant let the SWMBO know how much Im saving though, she will spend it !

Brilliant find and just goes to show it is worth having a look around Car Boot sales. I'm still convinced that people can enjoy scale modeling without having to pay out huge sums of money for the latest nulti-media Tamiya offerring.

I love booties, I've found some great bargains, and oddities, at Redcar when I go there.

Well done on your find Danny.

                Tony.

Cheers Guys....Do you know the Ford Tri motor has the worst reputation of any kit on many, many forums...I can see why...the styrene is brittle and very hard. The supports for the wheels dont look strong enough to hold the weight of what is apparently a very heavy kit....no wonder it wasnt opened in 20 years haha
