    Beware

i'm also a member of another model forum,i took place in a swop with another member. i sent two kits to exchange, he got my kits. but i've never had his. he wont answer any pm's sent him. or answer any questions asked by moderators. he also sold a kit to another member and i understand that member is still waiting, having paided for it.

i know on here we use other names, but think twice if you see a

Thanks for the heads up. Which forum was it? Might help us be more aware.

Sorry to hear that there are bandits in the model fora as well.

Each time I log on there are more reporting having been had. now at least 12. all having lost a lot of goods and cash, one sent the crook £130. Gone.

we've contacted his local police asking for help. i'll keep you up to date.

If any of you are on any other model forums PLEASE pass the word. lets stop this crook now!

I googled this on streetview; if that's him in the shot he looks like a trailer park boy.

Could you tell us his user name- If he's still using it, it would be nice to know.

Loads of kits for sale on a couple of fora, that I no longer wish to even think of buying!!!

I do not know how far you wish to take this but a fraud is committed at the place where it was first undertaken in other words by the bloke in Canada. You may wish to inform the RCMP on the following link. You may not get your kits back BUT he may well get a knock on the door ................................

Sad. Like many I always try to see the best in people. I'm not stupid or naieve but there's always the chance an a-hole like that can get you........once.

It's worth remembering that the huge majority of people trading and swapping on various forums etc are genuine and will honour their commitment and that this guy is,thankfully, the exception.

Thanks for the warning about this individual.

                          Cheers

                          Steve
