    Figure Recommendations?

Hi there, I've recently bought a few Airfix WWII figures and haven't been that impressed with some of the quality, although the German Paratrooper kit seems much better that the German Infantry kit. (Not sure why)

So does anyone have an recommendations for some figures around the 1/32 scale?

    many thanks,

    Jim

    Hi Jimmy and welcome.

First off I have moved this to the general chat, as there are more people that will see it here. I think.

Now you say "around 1/32 scale"... Well there are oceans of 1/35 scale figures from literally hundreds of makers. Some are better than others, but in general the quality is pretty good in all of them and others are just better.

The best? that rather depends on what you are after. Master Box make some great figures, many of them offer the option of multi pose, so you can swap arms and legs around between figures to get different poses from the normal.

Tamiya make good figures as well, but some of the older sets are a bit plain compared to the newer one.

The best idea I can offer is Google "figures 1/35" in the picture search, you'll find loads, and can then go to the maker or the shop that sells them.

For specifically 1/32 WW2 stuff you'll be limited quite a bit....

Airfix do a range but in my experience you could come up with something as detailed just melting some plastic in a saucepan sometimes

Pegasus hobbies produce some ww2 Russian navel figures, not sure if they do any other ww2 stuff, they do other stuff like gladiators etc

Italeri do some ww2 german elite troops, the majority of their 1/32 seems to be 18th/19th century stuff with a few gladiator packs available, again not sure if there's other ww2 stuff available.

Hat industries do a wide range of 1/32 but these are mainly historical figures so i would imagin no use to you but worth mentioning as they're pretty good for the price.

As Ian correctly says there's a plethora of 1/35 figures avaiable regarding ww2, quality depends on the individual kit and not price in my experience
