    Being Done

I have the greatest annoyance, understatement, of being "done". I really get bad tempered at the audacity of some of these Traders.

But to my suprise I applaud two. One where I bought a magnifier light for near on £40 only to find 1 week later it was halved in cost. I informed them of my unhappiness & a very nice email with apologies refunding the difference in full appeared. Maplins to applaud.

Another cannot find in Jersey what I need in clothing so went to Premierman. Jacket near £50 & it was in the post when I discovered they were selling them for less than half. Another of my now standard letters of complaint. Believe me another apology & a complete refund.

Another yes another but this time in Jersey. Just moved & needed a television table. So to the Coop the doyn of value & reason. Youch £125 for TV table. But there you are COop best value & bought it. Needed another for TV in my model room. In the local elecrticity Companie's show room the Jersey Elec. Co. Amazed the same table for £49:99. Also this morning another place £49:67. Letter of complaint but no reply to date.

So the moral do not rely on loyalty to past behaviour. I normally shop around, much to the annoyance of her in doors, to get the best deal.

PS Senior son takes after me. But worse. Sick at home. Some pickle (probably the pickle he complained of). Wrote to the company saying he could not get out of the jar the remnants at the bottom. Got a voucher for two free jars.

It just goes to show. A quick letter voicing your dissatisfaction can often pay off. Think of all those that just swear and leave it at that.

        Another.

Closed a credit card a month ago by ringing them & asking how much I owed then said please take money form my debit account & close which they did whilst on the phone. They said yes it is closed.

A couple od days ago received a statement showing that there was still an outstanding balance but if settled they would close the account.

        The oustanding balance 10p.

So selotaped a 10p coin to the statment & mailed it back.
