    electronic magazine downloads

hi guys i don't know if this post is in the right forum but i will ask anyway , does anyone use electronic mag downloads as i subscribe to a couple of modelling mags and they are getting expensive so i was thinking of the download type . is the downloaded 1 just as good as the paper 1 or do you loose the perspective when viewed from a computer >

The only 'magazine' I subscribe to is Scale modelling now. It has some good reviews and articles, the best bit by far is the photo reference library. Though several of the sets are now appearing as a PDF fies, which I am not so happy about. I would rather just have the photo sets...

The thing I experience most is that it all becomes rather a challenge to find the new stuff. It all ends up the same place and not in monthly sections. Both good and bad. You don't have to remember which month it was in, but there is loads to wade through to find things again.

The quality is very good and I think its good enough that I have renewed again..

As for other webazines... what's out there... I don't normally buy mags as I tend to inherit them from the model shop once in a while.

Steve I subscribed to S.M.N a while back for £12 and put some of my builds in the members gallery. There's plenty of tips and tutorials and reference photos so all in all not a bad site. You can't go wrong for £12.
