    Repair day?

I've just been sorting out which models to take to the next show I'm going to and to my horror I have to fix, attach, repair 7 of my builds!! I transport them in those clear storage boxes with styrene sheets in the base and secure them using cocktail sticks but it seems my journey home form the last show was very rough for them. So two questions, if you take your builds to shows how often do you end up repairing them either there or after your return and secondly how do you transport them?

So far its only minor things like landing gear flaps falling off and the odd aerial breaking or wheel falling off but still

Having moved recently & downsized Adrian I know what it is like. Had to stuff one on top of the the other with crumpled up paper between.

But not bad a few bits of rigging snapped a wheel here & another there & an aerial. But an evening repairing did the job & there was no necessity to touch up with paint.

Actually I find that friends coming around, including my eldest 47 year old son & the plane wreckers. They think it is good practice to pick the things up & do a twirl through the air.

All this despite a notice barring any body touching signed by Air Chief Marshall Laurie Stewart.

Fat lot of good that is.
