    churchill colours

    Hi all

does anyone have any idea of the colour of the churchill tank. I'm using tamiya paint and the colour chart says xf 61dark green, however it does not look right.

hi I build only British armour and after a bit of local advice I use vallejo70.887 brown violet , it sounds weird but I have just finished an aa tank and it came out well . I am painting a vc firefly Sherman and on Ian's advice mixed Russian uniform/olive gray 50/50 and it come out nice , just slightly lighter than the violet give them a try , good luck

XF51 or XF62, or spray colour AS06 covers both of them.

XF72 according to the Vallejo conversion chart from their site.

thanks for all your help folks. Found that by mixing XF 61and XF 58 it turned out to be pretty dam close.
