21 for the 24th time
Going by the people I talk to 45-55 would be an average. It seems most people take up the hobby again once the kids have flown the nest.Comment

i do fear for the future of the hobby as most of us probably had a little go at modelling when we were kids maybe with our fathers,i have four kids, two girls and two boys and no matter how hard i try i cannot get them to have a go, the draw of the latest iphone or xbox/ps3/laptop is far difficult to beat with a bit of glue and plastic, when we are all too old where are the next generation gonna be.......sitting in front of some screen shooting aliens or making freinds on a keyboard and losing the ability to communicate with people face to face...Comment

If a shop can't compete with the internet sellers, tough, they die. Why should I spend money unnecessarily to keep a failing business alive? I don't remember hordes of shopkeepers rallying round to help me when I've been in need ............................ see what I mean about Thatcher? :grumpy:Comment
