3 year olds and scale models????

3 year olds and scale models are a very bad mix................ 'er indoors was looking after our three year old daughter yesterday. The little one was watching a few cartoons and 'er indoors decided to do a bit of dusting............... Moved a couple onto the coffee table to dust a shelf......... Three year old makes a "bee line" for 'em ...........and now I have the GS1100 Katana, I built for the summer GB and the Valencia RC211V "Austin Powers" Honda to repair......

................ It's a good job I love that little girl so much.

Oh well. At least while you're repairing your kits you're not strangling the child! :lol

Me - I'm not keen on kids. Not even if they're properly cooked with a good sauce.

My 3year old daughter has had access to my models all her life. She and i painted a 1/72 yak pink for her to do with as she pleases so she knows the difference between her model and my models.Works a treat.

Yes and they do not grow up. My eldest son 48 loves to pick up & inspect my aircraft & is so surprised to here a ping as an aerial wire attempts to wing its way into space.

Also thinks it fun to arrange all my little carefully prepared captions. So now we have a Catalina type Spitfire & a Lancaster Swordfish.

Does a 28 year old count as child,a few weeks ago picked up a Spitfire XIX to show a friend on placing it back down broke one of the undercarriage legs off! Having four children all now regarded as grown up in size if not mentallity,I've managed to get off quite lightly the worst disaster same son when around five dropped a LDM Miles Hawk Speed Six,knocked off the tail plane/fin rudder and broke a prop blade, it's the only model I've every repaired.
