    Lynn - 6th August 2013

    Dear forum friends;

    It is with deepest regret and sadness that I inform you that Lynn, my wife sadly passed away on the 6th of August.

    Im still finding it extremely painful and asking unanswerable questions as to why she was taken away from me, but yet still I have to (try at least) and struggle onwards.

    She had a viral infection which led to complications and lastly sleep.

    We were only married for 4 years, but my feelings and memories for her will last a lifetime. Our anniversary was in July. She was my friend, advisor, support and I simply miss her.

    She was smart, warm, kind, I looked upto her and I love her deeply. I feel priviliged and honoured, that she allowed me to share her final years. She suffered from rheumatoid athritis all her life, yet carried on. She was 53.

    She was artistic - she drew and painted scenes that I could only hope to achieve; she built a couple of models and there are still some in the box waiting for her hand to provide her own brand of magic and bring them to life. I can only try and build them half as good.

    Thank you for allowing me to "say" these few words out loud. I am angry with the world and feel empty. Lynn took my heart with her and there it shall remain

    So very sorry Ian. That is very sad for any one you know but some one who is the closest to you must be devastating.

    Not happened to me so I can only gauge what it means.

    I am sure Lynn would not want to think she took your heart with her. I am sure she would hope that she left memories & was in your heart from now to eternity.

    We learn a lot from our partners & I am sure there is much Lynn has left you. That is something to hold on to.

    I find it difficult to help but a few words is all that I can give. Hang on to that love she gave & is still there for ever.

    Laurie

        Sorry to hear the news Ian.

        There's not a lot we can say to change the feelings you have at the moment, but you should know that there's always support and a friendly "face" on here should you need anything.

                Sorry for your loss Ian. Its not so long ago I lost my dear mom (The Old Dutch). That's the name I always called her. There always comes a time in life when we lose someone so dear to us, someone that means the world to you. All we can do is thank god that we were able to be part of their lives and they be yours. Some say its better to love and lost than never to have loved at all. Well I've been there and I say to them, Try it!. Memories never heal the pain but are there for ever to be cherished.

                My thoughts are with you.

                Andy
