Wonwings diary-Fabulous scale electric flyers in action.

Just to see the potential, take a look at these video clips of everything from a Focke Wulf 190 to a Mosquito in action, they all perform really well, and just look at the small flying area as well.

Some of the high wing machines would make ideal trainers, get some stick time with the Realitycraft Flightmaster software first then go and fly for real.

Cannot wait until the spring to get out again.

Superb stuff Barry, Electric is coming on in leaps and bounds nowadays.

I was very impresed with the BF 110, it looked stunning in the air and the launch and landing looked straightforward as well. I wonder whether I could get one home!!!

***I knew that you would like these scenes Richard, the models are so light this is why they fly so well, these small cobalt motors are the thing and a twin is so reliable as no engines to quit,I think that with a bit of practise with a basic high wing design you could easily progress to something else, just a pity that we live so far away as it would be a pleasure to teach you to fly.

Well, that video of the Corsair was well timed as I'm currently building a scale model of the same 2 channel r/c as well as electric motor control. I have the kit and it looks like I'll have to do some Houdini-stuff to make it happen, but then that's what it's all about for me-the smaller the better!

I'll have a shed load of questions as I go along but I have no doubt that you guys will be as helpful as you have always been.
