On my hols - but not idle.

We're in North Devon at the moment, on holiday. But I still have wifi so I've been able to check up on you all. Now, I am feeling a bit left out with nothing to build, so, gentlemen, I give you the following,

Firstly, an in progress shot. No 1

One more for the build thread No 2 Now looking a bit worn out wondering how big is this thing ? No scale indicated on the box.

    And the completed build.

It was a cheap model, detail sadly lacking, no panel lines, no cockpit detail, no landing gear. Scale, who knows, accuracy - well not this time.

But look what did land nearby.

An aircraft soon to be extinct.

Well time to pack the bags and think about today's build.

    Colin M...

And i think there's a big risk of silvering when the decals get put on ,so plenty of micro sol. I'm sure John in the shop should have plenty for you, and with his quick delivery should be with you before the holiday ends

Oh yes, sanding down, nice, Beechcraft, yes another good one. Microsol, a bucket or two might be needed.

I was SHORE I would get a good response to this post.

No, I won't be taking it home with me, I had to WAVE good bye to it as we left.

SHORE, WAVE the best I could do.

I think it was nicely done .... all without a single bit of photo etch as well.

That canopy is so clear you can hardly see it ...

As I type this the tide has probably come in... so its had its final wash I would imagine

Colin, WASH, I missed that one, hats off to you for that. I thought I had all bases covered. Wrong again.

Joe. The Sea king is our normal Air sea rescue helicopter for the UK. That pic was taken as it landed on Wollacombe beach North Devon. It seems, some poor chap was doing a bit of sea canoeing and might of had a heart attack ? A worrying time, but lots of professionals on site, very quickly. Thank heavens for then RAF and NHS,
