Well then I am slowly getting the new man cave sorted out. It's actually starting to look like something!

Stil a few more shelves to make and bits to find and the odd bag of trash to take out but it beats the old one.

Unpacking the few aircraft was fun, they where all packed in lose polybeads, spent bloody ages with a pipe cleaner getting them out of all the small nooks and crannies!
Out of a whole box with Spitfire, Seafires, Hurricanes and a few other oddities, only one was damaged, the wing folded SeaFire one of the wings has dropped off...

      More later...

The only reason it is neat and tidy is because I have yet to use it... Still fitting it out-

Well at last, I'm nearly a paid up member of the Man cave club. The story goes, daughter No1, moves out to her own house. Daughter No.2 gets promoted to the bigger bedroom. The Guinea pigs get promoted from the old play room, to daughter No.2's room and I get the Guinea pigs room. Yes this does mean I rank below the Guinea pigs in this house, I know.

The play room. It has been suggested I keep the clouds and hang planes up just like I did all those years ago. Well, no.

I'm nearly 50, rolling fields and fluffy white clouds are going.

It was a battle to cover that blue up, but its all gone now.

This picture still shocks and confuses me. The wife, decorating. I think she wants me and my models out of the lounge.

All traces of play room are gone. The desk will go under the window and the shelves / display cabinets will be going on this wall.

The first addition to the room, a bit of digital art.

Oh yes, nearly forgot, look what John sent me. Some of those Hobby Zone storage things - time for some PVA fun.

Ah, well, please see the latest pics. However I am at this moment trying my best to refuse any, un model / aircraft type addition to the room. But as we know, nature deplores a vacuum.

Yes, pink. the remnants of the kids play room. I couldn't justify swapping it. Anyway, feminine side and all that modern stuff...............

So, I'm finished. My den / cave is complete.

                        The display area

                        The work area.

And moody light effect type thing.

Well I say it's done. Just the curtains and compressor to move in, then I really am done. All set for a winter of building.

Exactly, that's why here, I've built loads of deep shelves - they should keep me going for a while yet. If I stick to 1:72, they should last for ever !

Well here is an up-date on my new cave. Been packing boxes out....and built the last of the shelves, Just need doors and trim.

A nice big bench to build at.

A place to paint at. Which you can see has been used already...

The view out the window to remind me what I should be doing..... :/
