    Coming down from cloud nine

Three years ago me and the wife (Wendy) was all at sixes and sevens panicking because our youngest daughter Ashlee was taking a very big step and going to University, out in the big wide world. In the first year you could guarantee we was in Lincoln every weekend, not because she wanted us there but because we wanted to make sure she was okay. The second year we was not needed as she made friends and going out was not a problem (student finance=booze). The third year I think we seen her five or six times, no booze, just getting down to work.

Well, on Wednesday 4th of September she graduated. Honours Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television. We're over the moon and we've only just got back from cloud nine. We are so proud of her, but I'm at a loss as to where she got the brains. They're not from me lol.

    Have fun, John & Wendy

Congratulations Ashlee for doing so well at uni, and I've not used it since the discussion thread but what the hell, 5 stars to you and Wendy for raising such a bright and talented daughter.

                Well done Ashlee.

I can imagine that both you and your wife, who also looks very nice, are well chuffed.

I was when my wife passed her final exam last month.

Ash would like to say thank you for all the kind words, and so would me & Wendy. Was a beautiful day on Wednesday and the ceremony in the cathedral was out of this world, but all I could think of was Hogwarts lol. But then again, it was magical.

                        Thanks again, John
