I was searching the net for sites that had free card modeling areas, and was directed to this site by a link, I don't remember which one,

As soon as I got here I looked around some and decided this is one of the forums I would like to join, I have been interested in aircraft as a young kid. I can remember seeing a Republic RC-3 SeaBee flying aound and landing on a large tank of water near my old home in the Rio Grand Valley in South Texas around 1950 ( that's letting my age show) and saw an actual one up close when visiting my daughter in washington state. I almost missed my flight because of looking. anyway, I joined this forum to download and have gotten my grandkids interested in card modeling...I think if more people would involve their kids and other younger people in a hobby like this, there wouldn't be as much crime on the streets.

Just out of interest, how did you find this forum? if it was from a search engine which one?, and can you remember what search words you used?I think it would be useful in promoting the site to get more members

Hi I found your website by looking up articles about building the Bismark.

I did a google search and looked at a number of sites before joining this one which i think most suited my criteria

You tube led me to Scale Model World. Tried to join them but they never authorised my account. They seemed to be a bit obsessed with the researching and not alot of help with the actual modeling, so I googled "scale model forum" and got you guys, top of the list. A much nicer mix of modeling and background, and you guys don't care that I stuck decals where the indicators should go!
