    Revell missing parts

Has anyone had too order missing parts from revell and if so how did it go?

I'm half way through a kenworth 900 truck and just realised that the 2 major parts for the cab and engine cover are not in the box, I should of checked before I started but I was keen to get started.

Have heard good and bad regarding Revell. Some folk have been sorted quick while others are still waiting-the parts can take up to 12 weeks to arrive.

Yes had a part which I had managed to destroy. Told them I had & got a replacement within the week. All free of charge. Good customer relations.

I filled the form in last night but reading further it said this was for the USA is there a different form for the uk or Europe? I still sent it though.

          Thanks for the quick replies.

Sorry Martin, I assumed that Si's linkl was the one I used. The email address below is of Revell in Germany. Send them an email telling them what you want. Within a very short period Revell in Tring will email you with a form to complete. The spares will go from Revell Germany, to Revell Tring, to you. I think they say about 12 weeks but it took less than three in my case.

You also get emails telling me where they are in the process.

If the parts are broken when they arrive or missing, and you tell them this, there is no charge.I broke mine and could not fix. I think I was charged £5.

Received a letter saying they processing my request and apologising for the missing parts can't do better than that ! Hopefully I should have my parts in a couple of weeks.

                          Go revell.

                          Thanks chaps

just an update I received my missing parts for the revell truck kit. Just like to say how impressed I am with the service from revell no questions asked and no postage cost and about 3 weeks to process.

I've had no problems with getting replacement bits off Airfix, Revell and academy (although academy took an age). Dragon on the other hand are the most unhelpful bunch of !"£%$!%$ I've ever had the displeasure to try and deal with. The were so unhelpful and in the end I gave up and moved on. Lovely kits. Customer service terrible.

Glad you got your bits from Revell though
