There is no other known cure.

Looks like a bad case of OCD,Obsessive & Compulsive Disorder.

But do not worry about it Allyne once you have built the lot you will be cured.

However there can be set backs especially the SSS, Spitfire Shot up Syndrum. Particularly bad with the MK5 strain especially the early stages. Can lead to the worrying delibating effect of plastering glue on plastic.

I've heard of this afliction , but all is not lost ! There are two steps you can take to cure this terrible problem

1, whenever you look at your stash of 190s put the radio on and listen to the archers after a week or two everytime you see 190s you will start humming the theme tune

If that doesn't work then there is step two now this is quit frankly horrible if fac I'm thinking of it now and the thought of a 190 sends shivers down my spine.

2, everytime you look at your 190s think of Gordon brown naked , f this fails then you are lost but let me tell you as I type this that image is in my mind and I don't think I can ever build a 190 !!!

 I hope this helpsComment

Don't you know you're supposed to call it "CDO"? Same thing, but in alphabetical order.Originally posted by \Looks like a bad case of OCD,Obsessive & Compulsive DisorderComment

Sadly Allyne there is no cure, but all is not lost, there is a form of therapy available to alleviate the symptoms.

Step 1 Find a model of an FW 190 - any scale, manufacturer or marque that takes your fancy.

 Step 2 Build it.

Step 3 If your affliction has not eased sufficiently, return to Step 1.

I'd say it was ''obsessive collecting disorder'' ...

You want to try and subdue any further tendencies to collect more or soon you'll be sitting with others in a little circle saying things like ''my names Allyne and I'm a collecta-holic''

You can go ''cold turkey'' but I've heard scratch building aircraft out of white bird meat isn't the easiest thing to do Comment

I think the only cure is:

Step 1 give swsbo your card

Step 2 methodically work your way through your problem

Step 3 post progress reports so all the model therapists on here can give encouragement until you have finished your treatment

Step 4 recover card from the above and hope the affliction does not returnComment
