The reason I posted this was to try the mobile version on my phone.

Typically I hate mobile versions of websites as my phone has a big enough screen and enough processing power to use the full version and generally the mobile versions are so cut down you lose lots of info, i'd rather the full version, especially when i'm connected to a WLAN, however, if i use the full version on my phone, I get the type screen can type away for hours with no text showing in the type window, BUT, it shows on the main preview screen, BUT THEN, if you try to post it tells you the post needs to be longer than two characters, or words or somesuch, in short the full site doesn't work for posting, however as you can see above, you can type and post with the mobile site.
