Best musuem visited

Hiya folks just wondering if you would care to share what museums you visit and airshows and give us your thoughts on what you enjoyed

mine will have to be Duxford for the museum

Airshow ill have to say Milden Hall the american base once a year its great me and dad have to stop at every BBQ just to get burger and drinks lol

the shows are also amazing

Yes Char,Duxford certainly takes some beating for the sheer variety of aircraft,we have Cosford with the new Cold War exhibition complex taking shape,it is a massive structure,a friend tells me that the museum at Yeovilton with that mock carrier is just awesome,dont forget the Newarke Air museum either,for an independent museum it takes some beating,if I had the tme and the money then I would just love to tour round them all.

Once we went to the museum at Tangmere,it was an aeromart thing and you could buy anything from a kit to a Spitfire cockpit canopy,travelled all around the coast doing bed and breakfasts and visiting airfields,also flew over to the Scilly Isles by Sikorsky S.61 helicopter,a great trip.

farnboro' is a damm fine airshow too...... as for museums then i love the national railway museum in york........the festival of the sea is always a great event to visit too.

yes barry i have to say about cosford also i cant believe you have travelled the coast as well

went to Hendon yesterday, a miserable wet sunday... have not been for years, took the kids, it is greatly improved from my last visit, its fantastic now- i cannot recommend this musueum more highly.....

Yeah - and the great thing about Hendon - it's FREE!!!
