    Hi Ian,

Best of luck with the move, have you found a new place yet and does it have a big man cave room for you...

We have found a place we both like, out in the country and 200 yards from the coast!

Its a bit smaller than the house we are in now but there is loads of room for a new shed in the 1800m2 garden....

We just need to sort out the "fun stuff" with the bank....

LOL Carina (SWMBO) has already said that the garage would make a great gym. So a new shed for me and a carport looks like a dead cert...

you can't beat being out in the styx mate, whether it be a solitary small holding or a village house ... it's much better than the hussle and bussle of a big town or city.

Glad you've found somewhere, wishing you luck that all goes well financially and in the move

Well it's a house we both like, so I hope we get it as well. The estate agent recons ours will be sold by April!!! Just hope that a chain dont break!

Over here houses in the country are as cheap as chips as no one wants the hassle of driving to work anything over an hour is frowned upon here.

The prices are silly as well. For the price of our current house we could buy 5 in the country. All bigger as well.

One we looked at, but walked away from had four and a half acres of land and was still cheap (595,000.00 krone. if you are interested). There was just to much needed doing to it.

C'mon, you know you want that garage for your modelling, tell her the lawns are a great workout and put up some poles and bars she can work out on in between strips of lawn and you won't have to build a new shed

The wall in the bathroom that the cat used as a scratching post is now recovered. paint that tomorrow.

New light switches and sockets in the new bathroom up and working.

New lighting outlets fitted and working.

The Wisteria by the front gate is now on the compost. (was just going to give it a hair cut, but found out it was pretty much dead!!!

Got a big box of compression fittings and 12m chromed copper pipe waiting for me to find a tube cutter.

Also got the bits needed for the light switch from hell. Still manning up for that one...

                        Busy weekend!

These 1:1 buildings are great fun aren't they... My electrics are finished, gave the house and driveway a water blast last week, now to the roof repairs and replacement of guttering/spouting and then it's external paint time. Yay? I don't think I envy your workload on such a large property Ian.
