    I've just had an email

    Dear friend,

As you already know, this past October AK Interactive and its owner, Fernando Vallejo, finished the professional relationship with me and my team of collaborators such Carlos Cuesta, Iain Hamilton, Rick Lawler, and Elizabeth Wiese.

One month later, the owner of the factory who made the paints to be distributed under the AK Interactive label, ended the collaboration with AK Interactive and Fernando Vallejo due to his disappointment with the conduct of AK Interactive regarding myself and my team.

I have grown tired of creating ideas and products to be distributed by other people; as a result I have decided to produce all of my ideas and products under my own brand for the first time, avoiding any unnecessary future issues. This is why I would like to introduce to you my new company, AMMO of Mig Jimenez, where I will provide all my classic ideas and future projects, books, DVDs, and paints, but now without any intermediate distributor and selling everything directly to you.

Also, I want to communicate to you that the former manufacturer of AK-Interactive paints, after breaking relations with AK-Interactive, has signed a strategic agreement to manufacture in exclusivity for AMMO of Mig Jimenez. Due to this fact, AK-Interactives previously distributed paints and products, which were created by Mig Jimenez, are now available through AMMO of Mig Jimenez with exactly the same innovations and quality. The Weathering Magazine will also remain under our control and we will continue publishing it with the same Quality that you enjoy.

This new situation will bring you some new benefits too. For example, most of the paints and weathering products will be cheaper after removing AK-Interactive as intermediate distributor, and I have also included some Improvements, such as a Labeled Top Cap, to help modellers identify the products easier (something that I was not able to do in my previous stage). Finally we will be able to give you closer and more direct services according to your necessities and country location.

I apologize if this new situation could create any problems or confusion, but this is not something I have chosen. Finally it is important to know that now I can no longer be responsible for any of the products or decision made by the AK Interactive brand and only my current products will keep the same quality, originality, and availability that you have come to love and are accustomed to.

We hope we will continue working together in this new stage. We regret any issues that this may have caused you with your current inventory. Although our AMMO paints and your current AK stock may overlap, we are releasing brand new products and paint sets which will be best sellers during the holidays and the month of December. Check the New Releases sheets included in this email and as always... a most sincere thank you for your support!

    Sincerily,

    Mig Jimenez and Staff
