    Today I put my tools and painting gear away

    After a mammoth 18 days with 8 hours at work then 8 hours at home, the last five days at home working for 18 hours a day, I just put the tools and paint brushes away. Done. Finito. The House that broke me is finished. Good job as tomorrow the estate agent comes to take the photos for the sales pitch. Also the surveyors are coming to do the technical evaluation....

    me nervous.......? Just a little bit.

    Right now I'm pitched between knackered and relieved.

    I'll post a few photos or a link when its sorted so you can all have a good laugh.

      Again, you have my complete empathy Ian. I hate house buying and selling, it's a protracted and frustrating thing to do. Moving house is among one of the most stressful things you can do in your life.

            I didn't find moving house the last time all that stressful.However,doing work on the new place for the last 18 months has been quite stressful at times.I was hoping to get it all finished by this Xmas.But my accident has put paid to that.All I've managed to do since my fall is paint the primer coat on one door.Hope everything goes smoothly with your move Ian.

                Right then;

                The electrician has been and only found a few minor points so no worries there.

                The Surveyor was also generally pleased and has given our little house the thumbs up.

                The Photographer has just gone and we are both having a well earned cup of coffee!!!

                So it looks like there are a few minor things to sort out, mostly out doors, but generally the house is good, the electrics legal and I can relax a bit!!!

                (and enjoy a smoke in my own living-room!!!)

                      We have been living in a building site now for three months and the whole thing is starting to wear a bit thin!

                      Send us a picture, I'm sure the place is looking good! Good luck with the sale, after our last one just now exactly a year ago we have vowed never to move again!

                        Chears chaps. I feel quite relieved now that the surveys are over....

                        Ian, I might just have to re do it a bit, but it is pretty modular so not a big problem. If a buyer is interested enough to pay for it, I'll let it stay and build a new one.

                        Richard, I'll pull a few quick snaps and post them, but I will send a link to the sales photos later..

                        Now that the pressure is off so to speak, I can go to war on the shed....Dude its amazing the amount of cr*p you collect over the years!!! LOL I see loads of trips to the rubbish dump, sorry I me recycling centre. Good I have large trailer....
