    I was in the MZ shop in Glasgow today and I got a bargain model from £108 down to 44.99 its the Academy F/A-18C Hornet 1:32.

    That's a huge discount and a lot off model for the money.Last year I got a Trumpeter 1/48 Wellington from Modelzone in Lakeside.Reduced from £49.99 to £29.99.

      If you look around on eBay you will see examples of the old ESCI kit of the 1/9th scale Zundapp and BMW models with side cars. They usually go for around 60-80 pounds.

      When I was working in a model shop as a teenager we got one of the Zundapps in and it was supposed to be 4.50. The boss put it on at an introductory price and I got my 25% off so picked it up for about 2.25.....and that was a lot of money to me at the time!!:laughing:

          When i were a lad you could buy a new suit,fil the car with petrol, have a night out out and still have change from a shilling!
