I'm really mad with myself !

My son bought me the 1/144 tornado tigermeet for Christmas and I started it today and everything was going great I got it built painted and weathered and ready for decals and thought I can get the main ones on and then do the fiddly ones on tomorrow

I've decaled the top and the port side and started the starboard side when it tears up and won't fit properly so instead of leaving it and sorting it out tomorrow I've tried to sort it and I don't know how but decals came the other side folded up and tore !

So now all I have is a painted tornado with just little decals to put on

I'm so mad with myself right now

Ha Alan. Looks as though you are going to have to purchase another 1/144 tornado.

    Cannot let your son down.

In such a case I would be faced with a choice. Go with what Laurie says and buy a new one (maybe) or challenge myself to paint out the pattern I needed, by hand. Sure it's gonna suck, but then what consequence of failure doesn't? (few to be sure). It all depends on how adventurous you are, but I would be arrogant enough to think I could paint out what I needed, and deny the hobby shop more money for my mistake.

Surely there are a set of appropriate aftermarket transfers available for the aircraft? Someone such as Extradecal?

Two very good options guys , I may go down the paint root first if I bodge it then it's a re-buy

Could do Richard but I think I'm going to buy it but paint it then add the decals and put it together then , my main problem was putting some of the decals onto small areas like under the wing
