    Posting pics from a phone

As the big computer is dead, I thought I would have a bit of a battle with some technology.

So, is it possible to post pics to the forum, straight from my Android phone ? I've downloaded Tapatalk but that doesn't seem to help.

I'm not an expert and this question has been asked before. So there is a thread on here somewhere.I use an iphone5 and an iPad and find Tapatalk very easy to use on these devices.Ive tried doing it on the forum in the past. But it's too complicated and long winded compared to using Tapatalk

I have an iPhone 4 and it's really easy , at the bottom of the reply box there are three buttons , post reply, upload a file and more options

All you do is click upload a file , a screen appears with ,

Take a photo or video and chose existing

If you don't have a photo already in your phone click take a photo , this then sends you to your camera and you take the photo , this will then say use in the right corner and delete in the left you chose which one you want depending on your preference

If you have a photo on your phone you click , chose existing , this then sends you to your photo album and you chose the photo you require

Which ever photo you want is then underneath the reply box next to them are two buttons , thumbnail , and full screen , again you chose which one you want and they appear in the reply box

        Then just click post reply

This is for iPhone though and may be different on other phones but I would imagine the set up is pretty similar

So Tapatalk seems to be the way forward Dave. Peter do you use any special app, or just straight from the phone ?

Not a problem Dave, it's all good information. I'm going to combine Peter and Alan's instructions and have a go myself

Well lads, it seems I can upload straight from my phone's camera. But not from the phone's gallery. Well that's a sort of result. Thanks everyone for your help.

I think it's since I updated the forum to the new software it does seem a lot more forum friendly, I don't even see the need for tapatalk
