Very true points there jankers,
Linux exploits are always for another motive! A hat might find a hole to exploit in the OS but this will be used to gain access for another purpose. Any decent hacker (non-script kiddie) will tell you that no OS is actually safe from penetration, its just a question of time and machine power.
Oftern hackers will use "clusters" to attack computers or create DOS (denial of service) attacks on domains. This means they use several pcs spread across the world all linked to attack one pc- more oftern than not these pc users have no knowledge of the hackers actions.
When talking about security its all relative, the average pc user will never really get "hacked"! Prinicply why would a hacker waste his time on your home pc? Its banks and institutions like jankers says that are under threat, and normally by a group, not just one indivual!
Use google and the translate fuction and type ".ru os exploits". Using the "dark art" of goggle one can quickly find links to exploits and hacking scripts for every OS including unix. www.undergroundnews.com will also explain quite a bit!
Jankers- its when people start posting questions about how to use Kismet when we know we're in trouble, lol!Comment
