Had to be the Spit for me although I could have been swayed by the Concorde.
To me the Concorde came from an era when we led the world in inovative engineering and design. At about the same time we had the Concorde, the QE2 and the E-Type Jag. All years ahead of themselves, all timeless and all stunning designs.
Where did we go wrong from there?
I voted for the Spit as I think it had the most impact on the developement of the country.
By the way did you know that Cats Eyes were invented by a guy in Halifax? He got the idea from walking through some of our ethnic minority areas at night. All you can see is thier eyes!!!
