Laurie (tecdes): Where is he?

What's happened to him? No posts since November, and a search for tecdes returns "no such name", and his old posts have a "?" for his image. I valued his contributions.

Colin has decided not to take part in the forum too.

Colin (CDW) got some stick from certain members in a private email way over the incident at Christmas involving the unpleasantness between myself and admin (this is all sorted and the subject is closed), I, myself and others voiced our concerns over it as he only voiced his opinion, which is what this forum is about, in sticking up for me it got heated in a wrong way. He decided to stay away from the forum, I have spoken to him over the PM system and he is okay and is spending more time modelling. I too miss him very much as I loved his builds and his 'on a budget' dio items were just brilliant. In the future maybe he will return but until then he wishes to be left alone.

As for Laurie, not too sure regarding the issue as to why he wanted his account deleting but it is a shame that he has also sort fit to leave and in his case, not return. I do miss his superb aircraft and his knowledge and tips were top notch. I just hope that where ever he has ventured to he is happy.

I hope that this explains some of the issues and that it stays here and no more is dragged up.

We lose our scratch builder and a very active member...I learn a lot from him.

Hope someday both return.

Laurie had his reasons to which all admins are aware of. He is now a member of a different forum on the internet

After discussion with John, Laurie decided to leave the forum and wanted his account deleted. He was and is always welcome to come back to the forum should he choose to.

I shall say the same about Colin. He is always more than welcome to post and partake in the forum.

I have now locked this thread as all the information required has been provided.
