Hello everyone,

Nice to be part of a modelling community! My name is Antonio, am 48, and my Mother regrets to this day ever having offered me my very first model (An heller 'Cadet' SA Caravelle). As usual with 'firsts' it ended up being more glue than plastic... Heck! I was just five years old...In these 'modern days' of plastic modelling, I like to put together anything that comes in peices, but mainly stick to sailing ships of all eras. Have some BIIIG projects for the future but those will have to wait untill I move wich hopefuly will happen soon. I also like armour, aircrafts and cars. But will model anything really if it sparks my interrest. Hope I can be of any assistance to you.

The amount of modelling knowledge stored in these guys heads is astounding.

Tip....Do not look at their models, you will forever be squirming with jealousy! Or end up spending the rest of your days in praise of modelling perfection.

Well, hi everyone

So here I am! Back from the dead at last! Alas for a short time... My professional life has been quite successful in keeping me away from bits and pieces, and will go on like this for some time to come yet... I would like to thank you all for the warm wellcome. Thanks a load! It really means a lot to me.

I have to prepare 'my tomorrow' so I'll be leaving you now, hoping that it will be for only a short time (..?). But I'll be back. And when I do so, I'll have so many questions to put to you lot that you'll wish I had never 'signed up'! You just wait...
