    OMG I forgot

I've just realised that I forgot the forums anniversary, I did plan of doing something for it, not sure what but I've just been that busy I forgot.

1st March celebrated 10 years since the start of the forum.

I can't believe it's been that long, I would like to thank the people that have help to moderate the forum Richard, Al and Tony. And Ian who has taken on a lot of the day to day running of the forum and the related hassle that it comes with

Also thanks to Barry (Wonwinglo) who found the forum very early on and was one of the first members, he was a prolific poster and contributed a lot to the forum in the early years, not sure where he went but hope he's well.

But the biggest thank you is to the members past and present, this place wouldn't be what it is without the people that post here.

John, warmest congratulations on such an amazing achievement. I am still convinced that this really is the friendliest forum out there and despite one or two differences of opinions over the years we still seem to be able to return to that status.

And that is all down to the membership. Take a bow guys!!

I was bumbling about the internet one day, looking for inspiration/motivation as I was thinking about getting back with plastic model making.

I found a few photos on a 'google-search' and ended up here.

Glad I did, and I'm glad to be a part of it. I prefer the contact or interaction amongst members here even over and above anything I might find on "facebook" (which I am not a heavy user of as it is).

Ahhh...I'm thinking, had liked return to build models before and over all, discover this fantastic forum in his beginnings!

Congratulations John, the staff team and SMF

              My best wishes!

I second the congratulations to John & the guys for not only making this an amazing forum, but also for improving it as time has passed.

In the 4 1/2 years of membership (wow so long!) I've seen people come & go, and how the forum has evolved.

I'm sure many would agree that without the help, support & inspiration we get from being here, our hobby wouldn't be as good.

                      Cheers Patrick

Well done john and happy belated birthday it's almost impossible to think that over a 10 year period this forum has stayed the same , most have degenerated into unhappy places but this place has stayed the same and that's a credit to you and the mods also the great people who use this site.

I raise my glass (well my mug of coffee) to all on here that have made this a great site to be on

                            Here's to another ten years
