    Storage/travel box?

    Hi all

I'm looking to get a plastic box suitable to transport my 1:48ty Lancaster in, I can see plenty that are long enough for the wing span but these are too short on the width, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction

The dimensions on the kit are

    Wing span approx. 66cm

    Fuselage approx. 50cm

    Height approx. 16cm

I've seen a couple on eBay but worried they may be a tad tight on the height side, any help appreciated.

Make one up out of MDF board, then you know it will fit.

Ian beat me to it but Ikea is a good shout. I've got one I used to transport a 1/72 Vulcan. Unfortunately box is about a cm to small for your Lancaster, just measured it. would of offered it to you.

Try 'The Range' if they have store near you.

Bear with me Adrian, I may have an old light-weight ply carry box, hinged, lockable and with carry handle, also cushioned lined. It was built for a RC boat but may do for you. Will see if I can find it out and measure it for you. If it is okay for you, you can have it for just postage.

Do you have a 'Poundstretcher ' store near you, as ours has a large selection of storage boxes of all shapes and sizes.

All at reasonable prices as well.
