Headed for the Last Roundup ...

Over the past winter my health condition has worsened. I've been tired and run down, so asked for some scans. The cancer is spreading to surrounding tissue, and I've just been accepted back in to home hospice services. At this point, how long I've got before I "fade away" is uncertain, but it looks like this is likely the end year for my "present becoming."

Here's hoping the Vedic philosophy is correct in the Bhagavad Gita where it says "Bodies are said to die, but that which inhabits the body cannot die, nor be limited; therefore, O Arjuna, you must fight." One is here for a time, and must "play one's part" in the "all the world's a stage, and all the people on it are but players" as Shakespeare put it.

It's been difficult to feel inspired over the past year on model building; I hope I can get a bit of work done toward completing my started but unfinished large model projects.

I have started another simple and quick project on the McCann submarine rescue chamber from the 1930's and should be able to post something within a couple weeks hopefully.

    Regards, John

I look to Mark Twain for the simple "I have been dead for billions of years before I was born and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience for it" When I die I will simply be returning from the same nothingness that I came from. If another life is on the other side of my current life then it will be what it will be and I will deal with it when I have to.

Live for any reason you can and don't be sad that it's ending, be happy that it happened.
