    E-bay what the flip?

OK it has apparently been a while since I have been on E-bay

What the hell has happened. I can find my way around Hannants search better than this drivel they have doshed up. I dont give the blunt end of a rat what I have bought in the past, and looked at once. What?

Went to the German site, just as bad! When the heck did that happen!!!

    Disgruntled from Denmark!

Maybe there is a setting where you can turn off suggestions or recent searches etc?

You must be joking Joe. Spoil their game not likely.

Plus I am getting things which I have looked at appearing in the most odd places on sites. Weird it is like my life appearing in front of my eyes.

Correct Moni. Just reported in here and there it is. An item I ordered last night from Amazon emblazoned at the top of this page. Whoops now it has gone !

Disable your cookie settings to stop seeing those unwanted ads Laurie - every time you do a search it gets logged & then it throws up things they think might tempt you!

                I don't even have a so-called 'reward' card.

Not being satisfied with their big fees, they are now taking 10% from sellers postal charges!

                  That's really taking the 'p'

Yeah that's true...We'd have go to an actual model drop to buy a model, something that we all used to do, we're all guilty of using the tinternetops: and flea bay

Thanks Patrick. Had a quick look, using Firefox, and could not locate but must try harder.

So right Harry but with one proviso try Amazon first. Found Amazon up to now to be first class. Ebay not interested after the item has been sold. Also seem to be more "wide boys" on Ebay. Had a couple of problems un-resolved. Who ever re-named it EvilBay deserves a medal Ebay even sell these. Amazon not had any problems in returning stuff.

I'm guilty of using eBay as well, although I think that without it we'd get more kits in charity shops, jumble sales and the like. All for much less!

I don't are what the problem with eBay is! Yes, there are shady characters as in all walks of life & the word ' vintage ' seems to have been confused with ' really old kit that no-one wants ', but other than that where else can you browse so many products while ensconced in your armchair?

Amazon are ok, but their prices are often not the best.

                              Cheers
