    What's your budget? ( Cosford )

With only a few hours to Cosford I'm just curious if those going have a budget they set themselves or is it a case of if you see the one kit you must have you grab it?

I've got so many kits I'll most likely never get round to building that I don't have a buy list, but its a sure thing I will walk away at the end of they day with several more under the guise I had to have them.

On a side note I'm desperately trying to repair my 1:48th Lancaster for our clubs table, I was taking it to my car to pack when the box gave way

Is anyone finishing up a kit for the show?

To be honest Adrian, although I'll be 'carrying', just in case! I don't need any more kits.....I have more than enough to be going on with.

My main reason for going is to see my friends old and news from S.M. It's been 12months, which is far too long.

As usual we will wandering around pushing each other...."Go on, you know you want it!"

See you Sunday, and a safe journey to the show everyone.

I will be carrying a sum of cash and my trusty debit card also a backpack to accommodate any unnecessary purchases as my stash is already quite large and varied. I will be looking for figures and maybe a new airbrush iwata I will obviously buy something that I don't need just cause it took my fancy.i presume the Vulcan meeting at 12 is outside somewhere cheers John

I have two (yes 2) in my stash, which will keep me going for another year (at my pace). So I have no kit buying plans, but as everyone knows, plan can go wrong.

I will be looking out for a couple of Tamiya lacquer spray cans, and a roll of Tamiya masking tape, to save postage. Big spender, me!

            Hi John,

The Vulcan is part of the Cold War Exhibition inside the huge building on the left of the main entrance as you go in. I've tried to find a site map on their website but there doesn't appear to be one. There's two levels and the Vulcan is on the top level.

Doh. I completely mis-timed my trip to the UK. I arrive there this coming Thursday; if I'd planned better I could have flown last week in time for the show, and had free accommodation - my sister lives in Bridgnorth.

Dave , if you won the lottery, you'd end up buying the Vulcan!

Well while you guys are strolling around having a great time. I will think of the years of joy that I will get out off the Lawn mower we had to buy, thus using all the mad money for the next month or two!!

                      have fun guys-

Have a great time guys, and do try and not spend all your pocket money in the first 30 mins. I am not going as I am showcasing at the Harrogate Model Engineering show in May...and, like you lot, am excited but dreading that funds may not be sufficient as I will want loads of stuff. Look forward to viewing your piccies and your 'I didn't really want to buy that...but did' boxes.
