YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELEVE IT ,but I had a near disaster tonight I had been in the garage "attached to the house" grinding down the hessian net on the Cromwell after which I switched off the light and went into the house about 15 minute's later I was walking past the garage door and smelt a burning smell , I opened the door to reach for the switch ,and felt a burning sensation , it was the light switch smouldering and starting to melt , there was a short in the rocker switch so I switched off the main breaker and cut out the switch .
