    Arrrrrrrrghhhhh Thieving Scum

Got up this morning to find the mrs car (Citroen Synergie People Mover) With its front window smashed in and some of the kids toys that were in there stolen I ask you they must of been worth £2.00 if that Now the kids activities that they take part in today are up the wall and Im gonna be late for work! bearing in mind that there is glass eveywhere inside plus 2 baby seats dont these scum realise what they are doing the possible repercussions Of course the Police were quicky on the case (not) we have an incident number and some one will contact us in due course

but it may not be for a couple of days as they are busy:smile11:

A quick cuff round the ears on youngsters wouldn't go amiss either. At least it would bring a little respect back into the country.

      Regards

          Nigel,

Please draw a small solace from the fact that your friends are here and thinking of you. I'm really sorry, I've had exactly the same thing done to me twice now and if I ever caught them I wouldn't stop until my arm was tired!!!

          All the best

about a month ago now my dad and i were just leaving for me to go to work and someone had tried to throw a brick through his window, luckely only made a tine hole but the were bits of glass everywhere inside.

the window is a rain sensitive one and cost about £150 to replace.

i was late for work as well, i did some asking around some people but no one knew anything. if i ever dotfind out who did it....argggghhh!

How sickening Nigel,I really feel that these evil little towrags are fast gaining control and the Police cannot cope with all of these activities,a neighbour had her number plates stolen which were used for a robbery, another has had three sets of wing mirrors taken this year, worst still are the idiots who think that it is funny to place a burner under the fuel tank of a car,two explosions in the same area.My recent controversial blog on this subject says it all.

I've had my back window put through and so has my wife, I've also had my side window smashed so they could nick the cd/radio, someone saw them and when the Police came gave then the registration of the "get away" car, the Police then went to the persons house found a load more stolen stuff and arrested him, once they had him in the cells they questioned him and he refused to speak English so they let him go because they had no evidence, I only know this because someone my wife works wife used to be a copper and phoned someone there to find out what was happening, so far the Police have never got back to me officially to tell me what happened and neither have I got my stereo back.

The saying the law is an ass comes to mind.

                  Hi All

                  Yep!

went through the same thing with 12 Large Lads of 20ish who climbed over my wife's Micra and wrote it of (about mid-night).

So I went outside and I QOUTE they said " F*** indoors or die".

I rang the Law?,and they said "Have you actually been attacked sir" so I said "if I had been I woudn't be on the phone because I would be dead!"

The reply was "Oh well as long as you are ok, you could try suing them for criminal damage"

Two weeks later they (the LAW) came round my area asking for support for helping drug SUFFERERS with their problems!!!!???

                  I surrender.

Nigel, im sooo sorry to hear about this, what a nasty blow, even more so after your recent job!

                        As for the mentality of the young and crime i personally think its a police issue and generation thing;

Theres no local bobbys any more, the police treat everyone with an "air of suspicion" and thus the youth is denighed respect and in turn its not reciprocated!

Anybody 16-20 whos out in canterbury in a residental area after 11pm is treated to a brisk search by police (who resemble a member of combat 18) then questioned and only then allouded to leave! This is not the way to tackle crime in my opinion!

Many of my friends drink, stay out, smoke and drive cars with blacked out windows, none of whom are evil vandals or drugdealers but the message they all give out is that the law is the enemy! Surely if the police want to lower youth crime they should start meeting people and take a look at public relations?

My only crime is speeding on my bike and the odd trick, yet even when i see police im still cautious as they always seem to treat us mere mortels like the dirt from their shoe...twice now ive heard the "this is a big bike for a little boy like you sir..." line.

its all in the public relationship between the youth and the policeman i say!
