    Glueing blasa wood to plastic??

    Hi

I am hoping that someone could possibly help me in telling me which glue works best in glueing balsa wood to plastic?

I am trying to attach a balsa roof that i have made to a MiniArt building that I am doing for a dio that I am presently building, I have tried super glue and poly cement but it doesnt want to know.

So if anyone had had this problem before and knows how best to tackle this problem I would be very grateful if you could let me know which brand of glue would be best to buy.

    I'd try

    Cyano

    PVA

    Epoxy

Also try Canopy Glue, this is fantastic when glueing Lytho Plate to Balsa, it the only thing that will glue it, i recon it might be good for what you want too.

Yes canopy glue is good, isn't it a type of PVA?

Think so but then again, PVA doesnt glue Lytho Plate to Balsa very well, i must have something else added to it.

Yes, just had a look and it says it "contains" PVA so it's obviously got some other clever chemicals in it too

It also says that it sticks plastic to almost anything so I'd go with the canopy glue

                Hi Guys

Just to let you know that I have finally managed to get the balsa roof that I am building to bond to the Mini Art kit, I bought some epoxy from Wilkos and it has worked a treat.

I was surprised how easily it is to work with and how fast it set, there is no way that roof is coming off now, fantastic gear and I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to do like wise, and its fairly cheap to buy, once again thank you for the advice.
