I have also never considered selling any of my works.

My projects were really for my own enjoyment, and my wife, because she encouraged some of them herself.

I post pictures because I am vain. I said it.

Although with the way things have gone lately, I have been eyeballing them with the appraiser's look...

Nothing vain about posting your wares Steve, the forum would be a very dull place without piccies. Plus it serves as a showcase of your earlier works and present so you can always look back and compare, also handy for the comments and crit that folk leave.

A very good question.

do you want to sell them to make money, or to make room.

I have a couple that I could never part with, and others I would move on to a new owner quicker than they could get their wallet out.
