Which translated into normal speech means; You cannot do anything to the building if it disturbs it. You're lucky... when we renovated our house we had to re-roof and the council insisted on a bat survey which was inconclusive at £200 ...so I had to pay out another £700 for a chap to spend the night in the garden so he could then write a report saying he saw no bats!!!
Still, its a beautiful thing!
