Here's what has been occupying my time for the last God knows how many years and keeping me away from modeling.

Anyone care to try and identify it?Click image for larger version

I might donate something from my stash to the first correct answer.

If that's allowed under forum rules?

Well done, Dan and very quick. Thought it would take much longer than that. Usually get a range of guesses from Aston Martin to Volve P1800.

I should ask you which version just to put you on the spot.

Anyways, pm me your address and I'll send you something from the stash. It'll either be something with wings or something with tracks. Don't do floaty things. Sorry.

Interestingly, the Peerless was a direct predecessor of the Gordon Keeble as John Gordon and Jim Keeble both worked at Peerless before it (and the Warwick) went belly up and had been involved in the Warwick 350 by fitting a V8 into a Warwick chassis for the American market

Err..... Version 7a ? Wouldn't have a clue, my knowledge of small British manufacturers is pretty basic, but I do like cars.

Kind though it is, no need to reduce your stash on my account Michael. Though if you become insistent I do fold quite readily under pressure !

Talking of cars that get in the way of model building and vice versa, I'm about to combine the two.

Finally got some Baja panels for the bug. Grinder on standby....

That's very nice. I'm rather partial to the Baja look. When I was at Art School many decades ago, a fellow student had one and many a happy trip we had in it. I'm also extremely jealous of your buggy and despite the fact that I've promised swmbo no more cars, I still crave one (or a VW nova). Did have 2 Eagle SS some time ago.
Bizarrely, I also had a HiLux but mine was the 3.0 Surf. Great vehicle that could go anywhere.

And I WILL twist your arm. Someone with those interesting vehicles deserves a prize for being a car nut if not recognising a Peerless GT (Phase 1, btw).

Ow, ouch, Oh, go on then, that is very generous. PM inbound....

You could squeeze another car in that garage, surely ? Just don't tell the Mrs...

Talking of Peerless/ Gordon Keeble. A mates next door neighbour had a Keeble and we went out for blast in it once. I've been in a few SBC powered cars over the years ( and owned one) but it was something special and seemed at home with the good looks & diamond pleated vinyl.

Also, VW's just get under your skin. I don't know why that is, they are so awful !

Don't worry Michael. I was going to PM you and say don't bother but you have PM's disabled.

Very kind and all that but I've probably got enough to be going on with.

TR3 running gear I believe? My TR4A is in my Avatar. Nearly time for it to waken from its winter slumber!

I try to use my cars all year round, unless there's salt about. I used the Beetle all winter 2018, snow n'all. It was fun. And cold.

The Skyline has a few trolley dings in it but it's worth it for the conversations you have with bemused people and the occasional knowledgeable JDM fans.
